 22 years ago today my dad died. It's hard to believe its been that long. I wish he was still alive so he could see all the things I have accomplished. I think he would be proud of me.

Last night wasn't too eventful. After the kids went to bed I went over to my man friends house and played video games for a while and then went home and went to bed. 

My daughter had the day off of school today because it's so cold outside. I still took my son to daycare and came into work. There's not a lot going on so it's been kind of a boring day.

I don't really have any weekend plans except the normal laundry and tidying the house. If I have the motivation I will go through some more totes that haven't been gone through and put away yet. There's not a ton, but it's been almost 5 months since I moved and it really should be done sooner than later. I still have a lot of pictures and paintings and decorative things that need to be put up and placed. There's also a lot of organizing of things that needs done. 

It's supposed to snow this weekend. They're calling for 3-6 inches so far. My sister in VA said they're supposed to get 18-22in. 

I have almost completed listening to the audio book "If There be Thorns". Once that's over, I'll listen to the next book in the series "Seeds of Yesterday". Apparently there are movies for them. I'll have to see where they're streaming and watch them. I have seen the first one "Flowers in the Attic". I think there were a couple adaptations of that one and I know the one I saw doesn't end the way the book does. I'd assume that if they ended up making 3 movies they would have had to have remade the first one to end the way the book does.
